First he says Palm Bay, Fl is in the Tampa/St Pete Area, which it is not. Then he says Mason lost to Florida in the 2006 semi's to Florida then Florida beat Ohio St. What a clown. Guy has great enthusiasm, but my thought as a man of knowledge not so much.

Mason played with emotion early and will get blown out in the end!

His laugh is uber-annoying.
He's overrated, Laphonso Ellis is better.

GJ's cadence has no rhythm, he pauses like 5 times in mid sentence when no pause is necessary,.

How can anyone dislike Gus Johnson?

Agree. And chances are he is handed information about teams so if he says it wrong then its due to somebody else lack of knowledge. You cant honestly think these announcers come up with stats off the top of their head do you?

He doesn't even know where Palm Bay, Fl is?

Let alone who won the 2006 ship.

Love Gus Johnson - he makes college basketball games interesting. I don't know where Palm Bay is, nor do I care.

Gus Johnson isn't my favorite by any means, but there are far worse.

As for the mix up in the NC games, Florida beat Ohio State the next year to win the title again (2007). He probably got the two years confused, understandable to a degree, or he got wrong information.
